Hi, my name is Ronnie. I am an American Contemporary Folk Artist. I conjure up images, then paint them on canvas. This makes me happy. Nice to meet you.

Reality Check

I woke this morning like most of us, happy to see the sun had risen once again and today it offered me diamonds on a frosted lawn. A trip to the P.O. to ship a handmade treasure to a Nancy in Illinois, a painting to create, laundry and a dinner menu all are in this day's plan.
First things first. With tea and toast I checked my mail and read this from Renee in Canada. I invite you to read her December 2nd blog post.

Oh, my! You startled me. You had me looking around to see if you'd entered the room holding a microphone!
Now that I realize you are not, I feel much better.
What a dear and thoughtful thing to do, Phil, but pray tell, how did you get into my computer that way?
After the first viewing of your tutorial(trying to see through my tears of screaming laughter)it became as clear as the lava in your basement that I would have to watch it many times.
I will be up very late tonight following your lesson.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart for taking time out from drinking scotch and examining the moles on your body.

Please send another tutorial on how not to post to oneself.
Thank you

Get into your computer? Pretty easy. I just created a TCP/IP buffer overflow by saturating the Forward Error Correction detection so that it would give an Ambiguous UDP checksum. The rest was child's play. I just put my waders on and walked in.

Ronnie, thank you for posting about me. It is always nice to have people think you are braver than you really are.....

By the way, just an aside, my Dad was in the airforce and was shot in the leg. He died on September 30th this year and I miss him very much. On remembrance day here in Canada on November 11th, I went to his gravesite and also went to the veteran's wall where his name is enscribed.

xoxoxoxo
