Get Going!

Let Go Go On

by Mary Engelbreit

As the new year begins I always find myself inspired. A clean slate! That OLD YEAR is GONE!

G-O-N-E gone!

Out comes the legal pad and pen and the list begins. At the top...

Fitness:

Dust off the Elliptical trainer,

the Yoga mat,

and set the Tivo to record Gilad and his merry band of skinny Hawaiian girls sweatlessly exerting themselves on the beaches of Oahu!

It's January 4th.

So far, I have Tivoed several installments of "Total Body Sculpt with Gilad", moved the suitcases (left there after our Summer trip to Hawaii) which blocked my path to the Elliptical trainer, and literally (cough) blew off the dust from my Yoga mat.

All righty then!

As soon as I finish my first blog post of 2010, I will turn on the Food Network and do 30 minutes on the Elliptical. I'll let you know how it goes.

Happy New Year Everybody!

Love and all good things,

Ronnie

Joe's stove operator - too funny.

We had a full gym in our house in Pennsylvania. The highlight of our move was getting rid of it all. We're down to a recumbant stationary bike & a weight bench & these days, I don't go near either of 'em. Have a great 2010.

Woo hoo! I'm back on the treadmill myself. I like to go back to my childhood with episodes of Bewitched while I run/walk, but the Food Network could be fun too.

Good luck with Gil. I get winded just watching him. My hubby broke my treadmill in his attempt to refix my solution to a squeaking problem. Now I can't decide between a new treadmill and an elliptical. What's your take on it?

I work out with a 30 pound weight every day--and she wiggles. We call our 4yo daughter "The Personal Trainer". She insists on our tossing her in the air, ONE MORE TIME, until our 40-something bodies cry "Uncle!"

Keep us inspired, Ronnie!

I am headed to "Yoga Muscle" shortly. It's been 2 weeks since I've done it, so i should be good and sore tomorrow.

lol, Gilad! I used to work out watching him in college. Too funny. How old is he anyway?

Good luck with your 2010 fitness regime. I've been walking every morning in 20 degree temps so I'm pretty proud of myself.
